Ketchup Retort
Working principle
Load the filled baskets into the sterilization and close the door. The sterilization door is locked through a four-level safety interlock device to ensure safety. The door remains mechanically locked throughout the entire process.
The sterilization process is automatically carried out based on the recipe input into the microprocessor controller PLC.
The sterilization uses bottom steam inlet to expel cold air from the sterilizer; the steam is introduced from the bottom by a diaphragm valve, and the top large exhaust valve is opened to expel cold air; once it enters the heating stage, the diaphragm valve controls the amount of steam entering the sterilizer to reach the set sterilization temperature; during the sterilization stage, automatic valves precisely control the temperature and pressure inside the sterilizer; cold water is injected into the sterilizer through a cold water pump to cool the water and the products inside the sterilizer. An indirect cooling method using a heat exchanger can be employed, where the process water does not come into direct contact with the cooling water, resulting in higher cleanliness of the sterilized products.
